New Species of Section Typha (Typha L., Typhaceae) from the Northern Part of Sakhalin Island

Abstract—A description of a new species (coastal cattail Typha litoralis) collected in the coastal areas of the Sea of Okhotsk is given. Habitually, the plants differ from T. latifolia and T. laxmannii, which have been reported in Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands.
