Abstract—The Co/ZrO2 catalysts, including promoted catalysts prepared by impregnation, were studied in the
synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2 at a pressure of 10 atm and temperatures of 160–250C. The syn-
thesized liquid hydrocarbons mainly consisted of paraffins and olefins of the diesel fraction, and a gasoline frac-
tion (54%) was predominant only on the Co catalyst promoted with MgO and ZrO2. The concentrations of iso-
paraffins in all of the catalysis products differed insignificantly (13–20%).
