Abstract—The experience of quantitative design of erosion-control measures on erosion-hazardous lands was
examined. Methodical recommendations for the ecologically safe burial of waste were suggested and applied
to the polygon of waste burial of the Dankovskii chemical plant. Measures were also suggested for this site for
the liquidation of contaminants from the wastes, preventing their migration in the environment, and for the reha-
bilitation of damaged territories.
