Modern State of the World Market of Gallium

Abstract—This review describes the current state and the character of changes of the gallium market under the
influence of new sectors of its applications, as well as the state and prospects of the Russian market. The dynam-
ics of world production and prices for gallium in recent years are shown. Changes in the commercial and indus-
trial policy of China as the main producer of this metal are analyzed. The need for gallium in medium-term and
long-term prospects is evaluated.
