Abstract—The results of an investigation into the surface damage of pure metals after fatigue tests are
described. Mathematical dependences of the variation in the fatigue resistance index on the cyclic loading fre-
quency under the bending deformation of the rotating samples are derived. The equations of fatigue curves are
presented and the microstructural variations under cyclic loading are presented.
