Hail Suppression to Protect Crops in the North Caucasus

Abstract— The paper presents brief information about the development of hail suppression technologies in the USSR and the Russian Federation, the main provisions of the currently used automated rocket technology of hail suppression, the characteristics of the modern antihail system in the North Caucasus, the results of evaluating its efficiency, the main problems of the project and recommendations for its further improvement.
