High-Efficiency Composite Anodic Conductor in an Aluminum Electrolyzer

Abstract—A composite anodic conductor is proposed for an aluminum electrolyzer. The new anode reduces the power losses and the costs since smaller quantities of nonferrous metals are required, the strength is increased, and the electrical contact area is stable. The economic efficiency of the new design is established.
