Abstract—Control of the trajectory precision in a machine tool with a specified contour is possible by the generation of correcting signals in the velocity loop of the supply drives. A mathematical model is developed for predicting the behavior of the drive system over time so as to form the required correction signals. This approach results in the required precision, with accompanying increase in the contour velocity, thereby improving the productivity and quality
