Abstract—Advances in the use of fiberglass and basalt-plastic reinforcement are reviewed. Physical engineer-
ing and corrosion properties of basalt-plastic reinforcement produced according to different technologies are
studied. Prospects for the use of composite nonmetallic reinforcement are outlined.
