Abstract—The phase diagram of the poly(-caproamide)–dimethylacetamide (DMAA)–lithium chloride sys-
tem and a fragment of the phase diagram of a poly(-caproamide)–DMAA–lithium chloride–water system were
constructed using the methods of cloud points and spectroturbidimetric titration. Regions of thermodynami-
cally stable compositions and regions of amorphous phase separation, gel-like state, and phase separation,
accompanied by crystallization of the polymer and lithium chloride adduct with the solvent, were determined.
The elemental analysis of the crystalline complex showed that its composition corresponds to the stoichiometric
ratio of DMAA : lithium chloride = 1 : 1. The structure of the crystalline complex was studied by IR spectro-
scopy.
