AbstractThe thermal treatment of products of the reaction of cobalt tetraphenylporphyrin containing

=N
and

=
groups with HCN was studied in the temperature range 100300°C. It was shown that
the treatment at T
200
allows one to influence the nature of functional groups introduced into the metal-
loporphyrin through the reaction with HCN; at 300°C, the structure of the initial metalloporphyrin was restored.
A possibility of using the process of interest in the production of thermoreactive materials is discussed.
