AbstractThe chain microstructure of ethylenepropylenediene copolymers with various compositions was
studied by IR spectroscopy. Using the method of paramagnetic resonance, ordered microregions composed of
ethylene and propylene units and microregions with mixed compositions were found. Depending on the
microblock chain structure, the temperature intervals of their melting were estimated. The solubility of a radical
probe and its rotational frequency distribution in the amorphous regions of copolymers composed of ethylene
and propylene units were shown to be similar to those of the corresponding homopolymers.
