AbstractThe structure and dynamic and static magnetic properties of lanthanum manganite alloyed with
alkaline metals, thallium, and mercury were investigated. Additions of sodium, potassium, and thallium were
shown to yield a uniform ferromagnetic state and metallic conduction. Additions of lithium and mercury
decrease the Curie temperature and magnetization as compared to those of LaMnO3.10.
