On the Magnetocaloric Effect
in Inhomogeneous Ferromagnets

Abstract—Magnetocaloric effect and its dependence on magnetic field and temperature are analyzed in the
framework of the Belov extension [1] of the Landau theory of second-order phase transitions to the case of inho-
mogeneous ferromagnets.
