Abstract—The solubility of hydrogen in alloys with the D2_d structure was studied theoretically with allowance
for the possible location of hydrogen atoms in interstices of two different types. The possible behavior of iso-
therms of hydrogen solubility was studied as a function of the temperature, the type of interstices, and the con-
centration of the third component in a binary alloy. The possibility of hydrogen accumulation in the alloys stud-
ied was substantiated. The results of calculations were compared with the experimental data available for binary
and ternary alloys with the same structure.
