Abstract—A model is suggested that describes the formation of domain structures in easy-plane magnets in an
ac low-frequency magnetic field circularly or linearly polarized in the easy plane. The model is based on the
strongly dissipative version of the sine-Gordon equation. Motion of domain walls in an ac magnetic field of
arbitrary amplitude is studied numerically. Critical values of the field amplitude have been revealed, which sep-
arate regions in which dynamic domain structures are qualitatively different.
