AbstractThe structural
relaxation and crystallization in the NiP and NiCoP coatings (1428
at. % P) are
studied by differential scanning calorimetry. It is shown that the structural relaxation
in amorphous materials
produced by chemical deposition is similar to that in the glasses prepared by rapid
quenching of the melt. The
relaxation changes in properties of chemically deposited amorphous materials can be
evaluated by the Tool
Narayanaswamy model of glass transition. An example of this estimation is provided by the
NiP coating
(14 at. % P).
