AbstractThe present work continues a series of papers dealing with the model of ideal associated solutions
as applied to calculations of the distribution of different structural units in oxide glasses and melts. It is shown
that the proposed approach provides an adequate description of the short-range order in borate and silicate
glasses (melts) and allows prediction about the temperature effect on the distribution of the structural units
responsible for the short-range order.
