Abstract—The study of the sorption capacity of synthetic layered silicates with a montmorillonite structure
towards thiamine hydrochloride was performed. The influence of the pH of the medium and the composition of
montmorillonite on the thiamine adsorption degree was studied. The optimum chemical composition of mont-
morillonite was determined, which makes it possible to carry out an efficient intercalation of thiamine in a wide
pH range.
