Abstract—This paper reports on the results of processing the data published in the world literature from 1901
to 2005 on the properties of more than 260 thousand glasses. Variations in the coefficients of interest of
researchers in investigations into the effect of various oxides on glass characteristics and into various properties
of glasses during this period are summarized in tables. The results obtained are analyzed and briefly discussed.
