Abstract—The pseudoternary system intended for synthesis of low-melting phosphate glass–enamel coatings
for aluminum articles has been studied. The optimum ratio between concentrations of alkali oxides providing
the maximum mixed-alkali effect has been determined and its influence on the properties of enamels (such as
chemical durability, electrical resistivity, thermal expansion, and fusibility characteristics) has been investi-
gated.
