Abstract—The kinetics of ozone decomposition in a gas mixture with CO2 and in a supercritical carbon diox-
ide fluid was studied. The rate constants for ozone decomposition in the temperature range 295–324 K were
found. The activation energy of ozone destruction in these systems was determined. The rate of ozone thermal
decomposition in mixtures with CO2 decreased as the pressure (density) of CO2 increased. The decomposition
of ozone in both systems was heterogeneous in nature.
