Cavitation Pockets in the Form
of One-dimensional Aggregate Chains

Abstract—Holographic techniques show that extended (in form of chains, etc.) cavitation pockets along with
spherical cavitation bubbles are formed in ultrasonic cavitation fields. A hypothesis is proposed which explains
the emergence of these pockets at the stage of liquid extension.
