Abstract—The most probable mechanism of biomimetic epoxidation of propylene by hydrogen peroxide is
considered in a way that reveals the unity of the redox and acid–base catalysis mechanisms. These concepts and
the Michaelis–Menten equation were used to simulate the experimental kinetic patterns of the monooxygenase
reaction and estimate its kinetic parameters.
