AbstractThe primary gas chromatographic data for an n-pentanegraphitized carbon black system obtained
in the temperature range 343.0413.6 K were processed to estimate the heat capacity of the adsorbate, the tem-
perature dependence of the differential adsorption heat, and the thermal component of the differential entropy
for the adsorbate. It has been established that, in the temperature range studied,
is approximately equal
to the entropy
of the liquid adsorptive.
