Abstract—A procedure for the preparation of surface-porous sorbents based on silicon-containing matrices
and an organosilicon modifier was developed. The chemical nature of surface micropores was studied by the
adsorption, calorimetric, and spectroscopic methods. The size and shape of surface pores were estimated using
a gas-chromatographic version of the molecular probe method.
