Aspects of Clusterization of Molecules in Viscous Liquids

Abstract—A statistical model of the formation of microheterogeneities is suggested to describe the cluster
structure of glycerol-like liquids in their high-viscosity states. A mean-field approximation is developed. The validity
of the two-level model for thermodynamically describing such systems is substantiated.
