Abstract—The dielectric properties of cyclohexanone–trans-4-methylcyclohexanol solutions are analyzed,
and their supramolecular organization is studied. Expressions for calculating the static permittivity (dipole cor-
relation factor) of the solutions are given. The solutions are characterized by a complex supramolecular orga-
nization described by a model of alcohol molecules combined into chain associates of arbitrary lengths and sol-
vated by polar ketone molecules. The dielectric properties of ketone–alcohol solutions are analyzed over the
whole concentration range and in a wide temperature range. The results are used to calculate the thermody-
namic and structure parameters of association and complex formation.
