Abstract—A structure that exists for more than 2 h is created from two immiscible liquids based on an aqueous solution of PrCl3 (or YbCl3, or NiCl2) and di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid (D2EHPA) in 1,2-dichloroethane with an extended vertical liquid interface.
