AbstractThermodynamic modeling was performed to obtain a qualitative description of the joint reduction
of iron and nickel from a multicomponent oxide melt with hydrogen in a bubbling layer. Qualitatively, the influ-
ence of temperature and the ratio between the components undergoing reduction on the process was determined
without performing experiments.
