Abstract—The influence of complex formation with biopolymers on the optical and acid properties of natural
flavonoid rutin was studied. The adsorption interaction of biologically active flavonoids from officinal plants
with the surface of nanosized silica particles was found to depend on the chemical nature of the biopolymer and
adsorbate and solution properties.
