Abstract—The available data on the thermodynamic properties of lanthanides in liquid melts of gallium,
indium, and zinc were systematized. The activities and activity coefficients of trivalent lanthanides were found
to change monotonically in passing from lanthanum to lutecium. This behavior makes it possible to calculate
the thermodynamic parameters for yet unstudied systems.
