AbstractThe experimental data on the thermodynamic properties of gaseous salts of oxygen-containing
acids available from handbooks and original papers were generalized and systematized. The standard enthalpies
of formation of a number of salts were refined taking into account the currently available structural and spectral
data. A criterion for estimating the thermal stability of salts was suggested and a method for estimating the stan-
dard enthalpies of formation of gaseous salts of oxygen-containing acids was developed.
