Abstract—A small-angle iteration procedure of solving a stochastic equation of transfer is described. This pro-
cedure is an extension of some classical results obtained for deterministic problems. Its convergence and accu-
racy are studied for a purely absorbing binary medium by way of comparison with an exact solution. The pro-
cedure is shown to be applicable for description of radiative transfer in media with strongly fluctuating optical
properties.
