Dissolved and Particulate Forms of Iron and Manganese
in the Redox Zone of the Black Sea

Abstract—During the cruises of the R/V Knorr in 2003 and the R/V Akvanavt in 2004–2006, the vertical dis-
tribution of the dissolved and particulate forms of iron and manganese in the redox zone was studied in the
southwestern and northeastern parts of the Black Sea. The temporal and spatial variations in the distribution of
studied elements were shown.
