State and Dynamics of Natural Systems and Bottom Landscapes of the Baltic Sea (Cruise 56 of the R/V Akademik Boris Petrov)

Abstract— The article presents brief results of expeditionary studies of the southeastern Baltic Sea and eastern Gulf of Finland during cruise 56 of the R/V Akademik Boris Petrov (2024). The expedition continued long-standing oceanological research conducted by the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology, Russian Academy of Sciences. Integrated geophysical, geological, hydrological, hydrophysical, hydrochemical, and hydrobiological studies were carried out. New data on the state and dynamic of natural systems and bottom landscapes of the Baltic Sea were obtained.
