Abstract—The first attempt is made to estimate the contribution of the rivers of the Caucasian coast of the
Black Sea to the formation of the regime of the compounds of nitrogen, phosphorus, and silicon in its near-shore
zone. This estimate is based on the materials collected by the authors. It is shown that the proportion of the com-
pounds of terrigenous origin comprises about 2–6% with respect to their content in the near-shore water.
