Abstract—Based on the statistical processing of the deep-sea meiobenthos samples collected in the Northeast
Atlantic and the Arctic basin, the dependence of the nematode density n on their body volumes V was studied.
This dependence was evaluated as n = n0Vframe01, where n0 is a constant. From here it follows that the biomass values
are the same in equal logarithmic intervals of the organism volume (or body mass) values. A similar regularity
was established earlier for pelagic and soil organisms.
