Abstract—The qualitative and quantitative abundance values of fauna in the Arctic seas reduce to the east. This
phenomenon is well known and is related to the increase in the severity of the environment and the decrease in
the primary production value. However, in the near-shore areas, local hydrological factors dominate and the life
abundance in these areas may grow to the east.
