AbstractRecent data of the SLAC E-146 collaboration on the LandauPomeranchukMigdal effect for
bremsstrahlung from 8- and 25-GeV electrons have been analyzed within a rigorous light-cone path-integral
approach developed in the previous publications of the present author. Numerical calculations have been carried
out that treat rigorously Coulomb effects and which include inelastic processes. A comparison with experimen-
tal data is performed by taking into account multiphoton emission and photon absorption. For the majority of
the targets, the predictions obtained here are in excellent agreement with experimental data.
