Propagating in a Magnetic Field

Abstract—Within the Standard Model, the production of electron–positron pairs in the process ee is
investigated for neutrinos propagating in a strong magnetic field. The probability of the process and mean losses
of the neutrino energy and momentum are calculated. Possible astrophysical manifestations of the above pro-
cess are discussed.
