Abstract—Experimental data on the elastic scattering of ³He nuclei by heavy nuclei at intermediate energies
are analyzed on the basis of general diffraction theory. The internal structure of ³He nuclei is taken into account
in the calculations. The results of the calculations agree with measured differential cross sections for all target
nuclei considered in this study.
