Abstract—The distribution of tetranucleotide repeats through DNA sequences tightly associated with the syn-
aptonemal complex was analyzed in golden hamster. The sequences were shown to be enriched in tetranucle-
otide repeats with periodicities of 2, 4, and 9 nt. The repeats were assumed to be involved in interacting synap-
tonemal complex with proteins.
