Abstract—In this review we consider the effective interaction force of identically charged nonrelativistic par-
ticles (electrons, light and heavy atoms nuclei) in a strong pulsed laser field. It is shown that under certain con-
ditions, the effective interaction force can become a force of attraction. This effect significantly changes the
kinematics of the interaction between the particles and can lead to bound states.
