Abstract—For the purpose of optimizing on-the-fly laser marking of tool steel products there have been analyzed
experimental results related to the dependences of contrast on power density and speed. Research has been con-
ducted with fiber laser for speeds of product motion identical to those used in manufacturing conditions.
