Abstract—The present state of the art in the manufacturing of catalysts for petrochemistry is discussed. The
problems of provision with feedstock and equipment are considered. Examples are given for the relationship
between the nature and purity of starting materials and the performance characteristics and service life of cat-
alysts for hydrocarbon dehydrogenation.
