of PdZeolite Catalysts for CO Oxidation

Abstract—The effect of the acid–base properties of zeolite Y on the activity of palladium–zeolite catalysts for
CO oxidation was studied. The modification of the support with basic additives was found to improve the cat-
alyst activity. A linear correlation between the ratio between the amounts of O₂ and CO adsorbed on the surface
of palladium and the catalyst activity was established.
