Abstract—The kinetics of isomerization of 3,4-dichlorobutene-1 to 1,4-dichlorobutene-2 is studied in the pres-
ence of oligomeric polymetallophenylsiloxanes immobilized on silochrome. Metals incorporated into polymet-
allophenylsiloxanes are copper, iron, cobalt, and together cobalt and copper. Copper derivatives are more active
than the derivatives of other metals. The process is described by a pseudo-first-order rate law with respect to
dichlorobutene. The activation energy of the process over copper- and cobalt–copper-containing polyphenylsilox-
anes is within 14–17 kcal/mol. The reaction rate is proportional to the amount of a catalyst to the power of 0.5.
