Abstract—The interaction of V2O5 and MoO3 was studied by the contact annealing method both in the presence and
absence of the external electric field. The process occurs via the transfer of the components of both oxides and is
accompanied by the formation of new phases. The external electric field causes a sharp decrease in the reaction dif-
fusion flow of V2O5, and the rate of MoO3 transfer changes depending on the polarity of the voltage applied.
