AbstractDifferent vanadium phosphates can be prepared by a barothermal synthesis from V2O5 and H3PO4
in the presence of water and n-butanol and in the absence of a solvent. This is an alternative method for the
preparation of efficient vanadium phosphate catalysts for the partial oxidation of C4 hydrocarbons to maleic
anhydride.
